What Happens After You Call
When you call (720) 538-5261, we ask a handful of questions before we quote anything: the door's size, whether it's a single or double, roughly how old it is, and what it's doing wrong. A door that won't open because of a broken torsion spring is a different job than one dragging on a bent track or an opener that just hums. If you know the brand or can read a model number off the spring or opener label, that helps too.
Some things we can price over the phone - a spring swap, a broken cable, a bent roller - because parts and labor for those jobs are pretty standard. Other things we can't: if a panel is dented, if the opening is out of square, or if there's damage behind the door we can't see from your description, we need eyes on it. Houses in this area span a wide range of ages, built anywhere from 1938 up through 2005, and a door from the 1980s often needs different hardware than one from the 2000s. Guessing at that over the phone gets you a wrong number, not a real quote.
If the job needs a look before we can commit to a price, we'll tell you that up front rather than quote blind and walk it back later.
Who You Are Dealing With
We're based at 701 Topeka Way, Castle Rock, CO 80109, and we work the Castle Rock service area and the surrounding towns - Castle Pines Village, Castle Pines, Franktown, The Pinery, Sedalia, Perry Park, Larkspur, Louviers, Stonegate, Grand View Estates, Meridian, Ponderosa Park, Roxborough Park, Elizabeth, Foxfield, Cherry Creek, Palmer Lake, Cherry Hills Village, Columbine, Woodmoor, Ken Caryl, and Elbert, plus nearby spots like Terrain and The Meadows.
We're not going to invent a founding story or a wall of awards. What matters more is that we know the housing stock here: a lot of it went up through the 1980s and 90s, and that era of garage door hardware - torsion springs, extension springs, older opener drive systems - isn't always what's on the shelf at a big box store. We stock for what's common in this area, not for everything.
This is a cold-climate region, and winter is hard on garage doors - springs that are already worn tend to fail on the coldest mornings, when the metal is stiff and the door is heaviest to lift by hand. That's the kind of call we're set up for.
The Work We Take On
We work on garage door repair and replacement: broken springs (torsion and extension), cables, rollers, hinges, bent or damaged tracks, openers that won't respond or run but don't lift, and full door replacement when a repair doesn't make sense anymore. We do not do fabrication work or custom carpentry around an opening - if your framing is out of square beyond what standard hardware can adjust for, that's outside what we quote.
One honest limit: if your door is old enough that parts are no longer made for it, we'll tell you straight that repair isn't worth the cost, and replacement is the better call. We'd rather say that upfront than sell you a patch job on a door that's going to fail again in six months.
Given the age range of homes in this area - some built as early as 1938 - we sometimes run into doors and openers that are simply discontinued. In that case the quote becomes a replacement quote, not a repair one, and we'll explain why before any work starts.
Frequently asked questions
Can you give me a price without coming out?
For common jobs - a broken spring, a snapped cable, a bad roller - yes, if you can tell us the door size and roughly its age. For dents, panel damage, or anything with the opening itself, we need to see it before we commit to a number.
Do you work outside Castle Rock itself?
Yes. We cover the surrounding area including Castle Pines Village, Franktown, The Pinery, Sedalia, Larkspur, Stonegate, Terrain, The Meadows, and several other nearby towns. Call and tell us where you are and we'll confirm we can get to you.
My door is original to the house - can you still fix it?
Depends on the age. Homes here were built anywhere from 1938 to 2005, and parts for the older hardware aren't always available. If we can't source a part, we'll tell you and quote a replacement instead of stringing out a repair.
Why does the price change once you see the door?
A quote over the phone is based on what you tell us. If there's hidden track damage, a bent section, or the opener is a discontinued model, the job changes. We'd rather adjust the number honestly than lowball it and surprise you later.
